For those of you that have drive or have driven a vehicle with stick shift this week to me has been like shifting in to second gear. Lots of noise, high RPMs but limited speed in the first 6 weeks. It feels good to shift in to second. Things are moving faster and I better steer (focus) on where I want to go now on as progress is flowing by at a faster pace. Distractions come more frequently and I have to pay more attention (focus) to detail or I won’t get to be where I want to be.
Scroll two of the Greatest Salesman in the World moves us into mindset of love. “I will greet this day with love in my heart” is in the first and last lines of the scroll. The last line adds “and I will succeed.” We are taught to have Love for big, love for small, love for friend, love for foe, love for sun, love for rain, love for success, love for failure. Love for failure? Yes even for failure as it teaches us more than succeeding does. When things don’t go as we want them to go we have to search for the why it happened, what was the cause and how can a lesson be learned to improve on the situation and reinforce what was learned.
If we start each day and every encounter with love first it will change your perception of every situation. Love brings out the best in you and when you project that love with a smile, a compliment, a little more patience and selflessly be a blessing for all that you meet your day will improve. You get more love from others because you give more love to others. Love could be the missing piece to your happiness. Giving love to others may find the missing piece for their happiness.
