This weeks homework yielded many awakening moments that link the The Master Key system (Charles Haanel) readings with other readings from other masters of the power of thought when pursuing the highest goals in your life.
Master Key System Chapter 4.6
The trained mind knows that every transaction must benefit every person who is in any way
connected with the transaction, and any attempt to profit by the weakness, ignorance or necessity
of another will inevitably operate to his disadvantage.
Blueprint Builder – BPB (Self-Confidence Formula)
An excerpt from Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill
“I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice, therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects.”
These two readings state that we fair and balanced in every transaction. This is how it should be.
When I read Master Key System 4.12 it made me think of a great speech given by the great Art Williams. I believe they both say if you are going to do something “Just Do It!”
Master Key System Chapter 4.12
Unless you do this, you had better not start at all, because modern psychology tells us that
when we start something and do not complete it, or make a resolution and do not keep it, we are
forming the habit of failure; absolute, ignominious failure. If you do not intend to do a thing, do not
start; if you do start, see it through even if the heavens fall; if you make up your mind to do
something, do it; let nothing, no one, interfere; the “I” in you has determined, the thing is settled;
the die is cast, there is no longer any argument.
Art Williams “Just Do It”
Also comparing Master Key chapter 4.12 with Og Mandino’s book “The greatest Salesman in the World” Scroll One which is all about overwriting bad habits by making good habits.
Master Key 4.28
The reply is, by exercise; mental strength is secured in exactly the same way that physical
strength is secured, by exercise. We think something, perhaps with difficulty the first time; we
think the same thing again, and it becomes easier this time; we think it again and again; it then
becomes a mental habit. We continue to think the same thing; finally it becomes automatic; we
can no longer help thinking this thing; we are now positive of what we think; there is no longer any
doubt about it. We are sure; we know.
The greatest Salesman in the World Scroll One
“Eventually I will find myself reacting to all situations which confront me as I was commanded in the scrolls to react and soon these actions become easy to perform, for any act with practice becomes easy.
Thus a new and good habit is born, for when an act becomes easy through constant repetition it becomes easy to perform and if it is a pleasure to perform it is in man’s nature to perform it often. When I perform it often it becomes a habit and I become it’s slave and since it is a good habit this is my will.
I am really enjoying my readings this time through the Master Key Experience. I am becoming more observant and able to link the messages from different perspectives which helps me dig deeper into my mind.
See you next week!
